Grace in the Mountains is a blog by a Christian wife and homeschooling mom juggling many roles, just as most everyone is. Life is busy and time is passing by way too quickly for my liking. Growing up, the mountains of Virginia were my home; a mountain girl in a small town valley complete with green pastures, mountain ridges and bluegrass music.
Whether it’s gazing at the mountains, breathing in the smell of salt water as the ocean waves crash on the shore or enjoying the strong winds and clouds of the big sky in the plains, I am in awe of the beauty of God’s creation.
As much as I like to read, write, listen to and make music, from birth God must have given me a book in one hand and a pen in the other with words and musical notes dancing in my head.
May you be blessed as I share insights God has given me from His word, samples of my writing and a glimpse into the life of a small town mountain girl…all grown-up, seeking the Lord and simplicity in the busyness of daily life.
Lori, Congratulations on your blog for God, LGW in the mountains
